Bio: Bill is a retired AmTrak EMD F7 A-Unit passenger diesel locomotive from the New England coast from the United States of America.
AmTrak is one of the biggest corporate passenger railroad services in the United States, and has been held in high regards by several railroads for its renowned passenger services. The year 1953 had found AmTrak retiring several of its EMD F7 units for scrapping— Bill was one of the lucky EMD F7 A-Unit diesel locomotives to have been saved from the breaker’s torch, but it was not through a preservation society or mandated by the company. A private owner had purchased Bill from the passenger company and had kept Bill in working order to move about the country; this has permanently gotten to Bill’s radiator and given him his rather unpleasant personality.
Due to being considered “modern”, and by “modern” I highly stress “modern” from the early 1950s, and part of a major name in railroading, Bill has an unbearably high amount of pride, which gives him immense arrogance that supersedes that of even Spencer the A4. Bill personally believes that he is only good for important passenger trains, and passenger work only— this arrogant mentality of regal, or even divine superiority has been known to cause trouble for the Mid-American Railroad time and time again. From Bill giving out orders to even calling other engines very hurtful terms (“Get away from me peasant!”), the F7 seems to have no problems even insulting workers, passengers, and railway officials. This vulgar behaviour has landed him into trouble countless times, and he is not afraid to continually display it from the pampering he received for many years of his private owner.
He has been known to steal passenger trains assigned to other engines and insult them very rudely; he has received many punishments which range from being assigned to hauling freight trains to shunting. He grows unsurprisingly resentful as more disaster is only sure to follow instead of actual work from the punishment, which only extends the period of time for his consequences; freight has been lost, and the companies reimbursed, from damaged shipments due to Bill violently tossing the freight cars about the yards instead of simply shunting properly. He also insults the rolling stock, other engines, and workers on the Mid-American Railroad while he is working his punishment; he has also instigated fights amongst the rolling stock, which has led to several derailments that have, literally, snarled up rail traffic in the Mid-American as resources must be sent to help restore order and tidiness to the yards.
His resentful behaviour has also caused many feelings to become ruffled and hurt from his spiteful, and heavily scornful, snaps at whomever is unfortunate to be in his way. Although one would think that Bill would realize the errors of his ways, his pride and arrogance have found anyone’s hopes instantaneously dashed; due to this, his worst punishment had been the last resort from me, and I only wish that I had not been forced to tread down such a cruel path. I hope to someday see him running again.
Meet Bill, the AmTrak F7 A-Unit Diesel. Oh, Bill... where did I go wrong?

Keep an eye out for Bill!
